I was completely comfortable having DJ in our home for 4+ hours working on this job. While we waited for the old water heater to drain, he also gave us some guidance on a plumbing concern in another part of the home (he gave us some troubleshooting suggestions - some of which we had already tried, some new – before we do a full service call on a future date). Had a problem with my garbage disposal. First they quoted me a price on the phone for replacement, which I valued immensely. Second, when Justin came out he was able to get disposal working again, so replacement wasn't needed. Then he just charged me for a minimum visit charge and helped with other minor plumbing problems. Outstanding Plumber - Honest, Skilled, and Reliable DJ has been my go-to plumber for multiple projects at my townhouse, and I can't recommend him highly enough. He's replaced numerous faulty shut-off valves under sinks (the cheap contractor-grade ones that inevitably fail), installed a new kitchen faucet, repaired a jetted bathtub that required careful coordination with my contractor, and most recently fixed a leaking water heater. What sets DJ apart is his integrity - he never recommends unnecessary repairs or replacements, but he's upfront about what actually needs attention. He uses quality parts that last, not the cheapest option that'll break in a year. He's incredibly responsive (crucial when your basement is flooding!) and his pricing is more than fair for the quality of work. Beyond his technical skills, DJ is a wealth of knowledge about all things plumbing. He explains issues clearly and treats his apprentices with respect.
